Rocky Mount came tearing into Friday's game with 14 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.9 points), and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to the Northern Nash Knights for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-33 victory. With the Gryphons ahead 39-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Rocky Mount was led to victory by Kira Jones and ZaNadiyah Harris. Jones posted 14 points in addition to eight assists and five steals, while Harris went 8-for-12 en route to 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Jones is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of McKinley Battle, who scored seven points and three steals.

Rocky Mount smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive matches.

Rocky Mount pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.7 points over those games. As for Northern Nash, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
