Riverside's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Mayfield Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Beavers have posted since March 30th.

Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Mayfield, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Mayfield will square off against Medina at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' contest: after the Wildcats face off against the Bees, they'll take on Riverside again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
