Softball Game Preview: Essex Trojans vs. Stanton Vikings

The Essex Trojans will square off against the Stanton Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Essex comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Essex and Fremont-Mills, and Fremont-Mills kept the tradition alive. The Trojans lost 11-1 to the Knights on Thursday.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Stanton made sure to put some runs up on the board against Red Oak on Saturday. The Vikings came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 12-8.

Stanton's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Essex, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
