Big game from Sharp as Canyon Hills won 7-3
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Chase Sharp stepped things up a notch to give Canyon Hills the 'W'. Tri-City Christian had no answer to Sharp as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also only allowed one walk).
Sharp's strong effort led Canyon Hills over Tri-City Christian and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sharp has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 0.3 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Tri-City Christian has only allowed 3.82 per game this season.
