Baseball Game Preview: Skyline Eagles vs. West Panthers

For the second straight game, Skyline will face off against West. The Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Skyline has five straight victories, West has 39 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Wednesday, Skyline made easy work of West and carried off an 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Andrew Lindquist looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Skyline is 4-1 when Lindquist allows one or fewer earned runs, but 7-9 otherwise.
