Recap: Lake Mead Academy Eagles vs. Laughlin Cougars
The Lake Mead Academy Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Laughlin, posting a 59-20 win at home. Lake Mead Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 29 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Laughlin still got an impressive performance from Daishanae Jackson, who scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Jackson scored 15 or more points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Lake Mead Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Laughlin, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-8.
Lake Mead Academy will take on American Heritage Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laughlin, they will be playing at home against Indian Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Springs will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
