Softball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland fell victim to Aurora and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Greenmen. The Hornets have struggled against the Greenmen recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Aurora, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Highland will venture away from home to face off against Buckeye at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bucks have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Aurora, they will be playing at home against Barberton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
