Baseball Recap: Lick-Wilmerding Takes a Loss

Lick-Wilmerding was the 8-5 winner over Mission when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Bears on Monday, falling 13-5. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lick-Wilmerding saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Baird, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Lick-Wilmerding's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Mission, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-14.

Lick-Wilmerding has already played their next matchup, a 23-4 win against Marin Academy on the 22nd. As for Mission, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 defeat against Lowell on the 23rd.
