Preview: Central Valley Cougars vs. Twin Loup Wolves
The Central Valley Cougars will be playing at home against the Twin Loup Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
On Tuesday, Central Valley suffered a tough 52-29 defeat at the hands of Pleasanton.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Maddie Clark, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Butcher, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Twin Loup was beaten by Sumner-Eddyville-Miller 61-31 on Tuesday. Twin Loup was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-9.
Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Twin Loup, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
