Cordova won against Sulligent on Saturday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Cordova Blue Devils walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Sipsey Valley Bears. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won three in a row.

Ella Grace Madison was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Shelby Black, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI.

Cordova hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in ten consecutive games.

Cordova's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Sipsey Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Cordova has already played their next match (against Northside), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sipsey Valley will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Blocton at 4:30 p.m. on March 18th.
