Basketball Recap: Pipestem Christian Academy Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Pipestem Christian Academy extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Enoch Gonderman. The Pipestem Christian Academy Panthers really took it to the Jefferson Christian Academy Cardinals for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-30 victory thanks in part to Gonderman, who shot 4-for-5 from long range and dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten boards. His evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Silas Mattox, who posted six points in addition to eight assists and three steals. That's the most assists he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Pipestem Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Jefferson Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Pipestem Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Beth Haven Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jefferson Christian Academy, they will face off against Forsyth Home Educators on Friday.
