Preview: Coleville Wolves vs. Virginia City Muckers
Coleville is 1-9 against Virginia City since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Coleville Wolves' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Virginia City Muckers at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th.
Last Tuesday, Coleville suffered a tough 73-53 defeat at the hands of Mineral County. Coleville was down 54-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Virginia City stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Whittell 75-18 at home. The victory was nothing new for Virginia City as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Coleville dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Virginia City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
Coleville was taken down by Virginia City 64-17 in their previous meeting back in January. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Coleville was down 50-12.
