Edison came tearing into Wednesday's match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the McNair Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Edison's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 25-15.

Vince Tanega paced Edison's offense, picking up 18 kills. Tanega got some help from Jose Rios and his 30 assists.

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for McNair, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.

Edison has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against River Valley on the 29th. As for McNair, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Justin Garza on the 29th.
