Soccer Game Preview: Pflugerville vs. Weiss

The Pflugerville Panthers will square off against the Weiss Wolves at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Pflugerville is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Hendrickson on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Hawks. Pflugerville's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Weiss fell victim to Georgetown and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that Weiss have lost by exactly three goals.

Weiss now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Pflugerville, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-7.
