Basketball Recap: Lake Creek's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Lake Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-43 win over the Rudder Rangers on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Rangers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 65-51 loss.

Lake Creek's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-16. As for Rudder, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing College Station the next time they take the court. Rudder will host College Station at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lake Creek will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st.
