Football Game Preview: Centerville Tornadoes vs. Gayville-Volin Raiders

The Centerville Tornadoes will challenge the Gayville-Volin Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Centerville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy, who was ranked first at the time (Centerville was ranked 21st). The Tornadoes were beaten by Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy 43-8 on Friday. The matchup marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Gayville-Volin came up short against Sioux Falls Lutheran on Friday, falling 36-14. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Gayville-Volin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
