The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders will head out on the road to take on the Holly Springs Golden Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Cardinal Gibbons got the win against Felton Grove by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cardinal Gibbons took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-14, 25-5.

Meanwhile, Holly Springs made easy work of Cary on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-20.

Holly Springs is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Cardinal Gibbons, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.

Cardinal Gibbons took their victory against Holly Springs when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
