Basketball Recap: Reuhen Bhalod Key Part of a Team Effort in Vikings Win

Inglemoor won the last time they faced Interlake and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Inglemoor Vikings blew past the Interlake Saints 86-64. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Inglemoor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Reuhen Bhalod out in front who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 16 boards. Bhalod is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 37 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aman Sterling, who went 7 for 12 en route to 20 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Inglemoor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.

Inglemoor's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8. As for Interlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inglemoor will face off against Evergreen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Inglemoor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.6 points per game this season. As for Interlake, they will challenge Eastlake at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Interlake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Eastlake likes a good challenge.
