Volleyball Recap: Cedar Ridge Gets the Win

Cedar Ridge was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Waller Bulldogs. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Cedar Ridge got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-20.

Cedar Ridge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Waller, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.

Cedar Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Randall on the 15th. As for Waller, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Liberty Hill on the 14th.
