Volleyball Recap: Strasburg Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Strasburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Page County Panthers. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Strasburg ultimately came up short, they really made Page County work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 24-26, 28-26, 25-19, 15-25, 15-10.

Strasburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Page County, with the victory, they broke their five-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-9.

Coming up, Strasburg will take on Central Woodstock at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Page County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Harrisonburg on the 29th.
