Garner Magnet led 4A Conference 12 in scoring this week by notching 62 points on West Johnston. Devonte "DJ" Epps in the win.
Knightdale made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,910 from 2,705. The advance stemmed from a 52-27 victory over Clayton last week.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, East Wake's Trent Evans and Evan Finch have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Evans has thrown for 983 yards this season, while Finch has 12 catches for 346 yards. The Trojans' Nyheim Miller-hines leads the league in rushing yards with 801.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Garner Magnet takes on the Comets. At the moment, Thurman Leach's team is in second, while Clayton is in third.
