While Jackson Christian's victory against Trinity Christian Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Lions 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Jackson Christian who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-11, 20-25, 25-15, 22-25, 15-7.

Jackson Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Jackson Christian will face off against St. George's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crockett County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
