Football Recap: Boynton Beach Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 55 points the game before, Boynton Beach was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by the Dillard Panthers and fell 41-13. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this contest were averaging 15 points allowed.

Although Boynton Beach took the loss, they still got scores from Bentley Ware - Roberson and Isaiah Turner.

Jayden Chico was his usual excellent self, throwing for 318 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 33 yards and one score for Dillard. Those 318 passing yards gave Chico a new career-high. Dillard's leading receiver Anthony Jennings Iii was Chico's top target yet again, picking up 136 receiving yards and one TD.

Boynton Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Dillard, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Boynton Beach wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-6 loss against Lake Worth on the 30th. As for Dillard, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-0 win against Deerfield Beach on the 30th.
