Softball Recap: Roy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Roy was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They lost 23-2 to the Box Elder Bees. The loss continues a trend for the Royals in their meetings with the Bees: they've now lost seven in a row.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Box Elder, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Roy will head out to challenge Bonneville at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Box Elder, they will venture away from home to face off against Copper Hills at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
