Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Julien Davis and Bryson Snider Lead Cozad to Victory + How To Watch

Cozad hadn't done well against Broken Bow recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Haymakers were the clear victors by a 35-14 margin over the Indians. The win was nothing new for the Haymakers as they're now sitting on three straight.

A big part of Cozad's victory came down to the chemistry between Julien Davis and his top target Bryson Snider. Davis threw for 179 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes while Snider gained 99 total yards and two touchdowns. Those 179 passing yards gave Davis a new career-high.

Broken Bow lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ayden Clark, who rushed for 120 yards and one score. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. Zachary Jackson helped out on the ground, rushing for 125 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Cozad now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Broken Bow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Cozad has already played their next game, a 56-21 loss against Gothenburg on the 3rd. As for Broken Bow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 47-3 win against Holdrege on the 3rd.
