Legacy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Grandview Wolves 3-2 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Lightning as they're now sitting on five straight.

Legacy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-13, 20-25, 22-25, 26-24, 15-8.

Elijah Pulliam paced Legacy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pulliam got some help from Rafael Urbina and his 54 assists. Finally, Urbina was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Legacy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-3. As for Grandview, they moved to 19-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Littleton Public Schools on the 9th. As for Grandview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Niwot on the 9th.
