Basketball Game Preview: Stall Warriors vs. Gaffney Indians

The Stall Warriors will be taking part in a tournament against the Gaffney Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Stall is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Beaufort on Thursday as Stall made off with a 68-48 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Jamir Sanders and Donte Ward were among the main playmakers for Stall as the former posted 21 points and the latter earned 15 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Antonio Grippon, who had seven points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gaffney, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 79-71 win over Clover on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Stall's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Gaffney, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.
