Softball Recap: Johnsonville Comes Up Short

Johnsonville was the 3-2 winner over St. James when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Johnsonville Flashes fell 4-1 to the St. James Sharks on Saturday. The loss was the Flashes' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Johnsonville fell to 2-1. As for St. James, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnsonville will head out to face off against Carvers Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. James, they are taking a road trip to challenge Loris at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. St. James' pitching crew has only allowed one run per game this season, so Loris' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
