Blythewood is a perfect 10-0 against Ridge View since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bengals will challenge the Blazers at 7:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Blythewood has three straight wins, Ridge View has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Blythewood gave up the first goal on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Swansea 2-1.

Ryan Hall and Daulton Purcell scored both of Blythewood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Ridge View was not quite Sumter's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Gamecocks by a score of 3-2.

Blythewood's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Ridge View, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Everything went Blythewood's way against Ridge View in their previous matchup on April 1st, as Blythewood made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
