Sundance skates past Lead-Deadwood with ease

Recap: Sundance Bulldogs vs. Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers

The Sundance Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lead-Deadwood 59-23 on the road. That looming 59-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Sundance yet this season.

Leading Sundance to victory were Aspen Jones and Jaylin Mills. Jones scored 16 points, while Mills scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The match was Mills' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Annika Haugen was another key contributor, scoring three points along with three steals.

Sundance's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Lead-Deadwood, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sundance will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Burns at 2:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Lead-Deadwood will be home for the holidays to greet Kadoka at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
