Recap: Calistoga Wildcats vs. Tomales Braves

The Calistoga Wildcats came tearing into Friday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 61-45 victory over Tomales. That's another feather in the cap for Calistoga, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calistoga to victory, but perhaps none more so than Will Ulloa, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine assists. Ulloa has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Oreo Infante, who scored 21 points.

Calistoga's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Tomales, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Calistoga will be playing at home against Napa Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Napa Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 14 games. Tomales does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
