Soccer Game Preview: Sahuarita vs. Walden Grove

The Sahuarita Mustangs will challenge the Walden Grove Red Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sahuarita's offense. They lost 4-0 to Mica Mountain on Wednesday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Thunderbolts recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Walden Grove had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They never let the Chargers onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Red Wolves, who have now won four matches by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Cholla with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nico Munoz (2), Santiago Sanchez, and Omar Leyva.

Sahuarita's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Walden Grove, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
