MaxPreps Top 25 high school football rankings

Chandler (Ariz.) rejoins the fray while the Top 24 stay the same except for switching a couple spots.

In September, Mountain Pointe stunned Chandler 45-42, handing the Wolves their first loss and eliminating them from the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.

Since then, Chandler has been on a tear, winning eight straight games and scoring at least 49 points in each.

Now, Chandler reenters the Xcellent 25 on the eve of a rematch with Mountain Pointe in Arizona's Division I semifinals.

Ranked teams will also collide in Texas, when Allen and DeSoto do battle in the playoffs for the third-straight season.
