Springboro is 9-1 against Wayne since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Panthers will head out to challenge the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Springboro will be strutting in after a win while Wayne will be coming in after a loss.

Springboro is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Beavercreek: they outscored them in every quarter. The Panthers put the hurt on the Beavers with a sharp 60-37 victory on Saturday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Wayne suffered their closest defeat since December 8, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Springfield by a score of 43-40. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Springboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.

Springboro came up short against Wayne in their previous matchup back in January, falling 55-49. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
