Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evans). Their defense stepped up to hand the Lake Buena Vista Vipers a 19-0 shutout on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Trojans with their most commanding win of the season.

The critical scores for Evans came from Nevaeh Bannis, Brianna Aponte-Pierre, Pennie Dunbar, and Nturubikia Mukunde.

One reason for the win was Evans' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Breanna Rowland. Dunbar got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Evans' victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Lake Buena Vista, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

As of now, neither Evans nor the Vipers have any future games scheduled.
