Volleyball Recap: Christ the King Takes a Loss

Christ the King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Walther Christian Academy Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15.

Christ the King's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Walther Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Christ the King will head out to challenge Timothy Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Walther Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Proviso West at 5:00 p.m.
