It's playoff time, and Alexander had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lakeside Panthers a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday. Alexander's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Adelaide Kelly and Brielle Delgado scored both of Alexander's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 33 goals.

Alexander has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 55 goals over those 11 contests. As for Lakeside, they dropped their record down to 8-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
