Connor Spears posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out five batters over 4.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single hit any time he's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Spears and Windermere will be playing at home against Timber Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Spears' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Wolverines' five-game streak of wins at home.
