Baseball Recap: Dundalk Comes Up Short

Dundalk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 25-2 to the Towson Generals. If the Owls were looking for revenge after losing 24-0 to the Generals when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dundalk saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rocco Lilli, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Dundalk's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Towson, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Dundalk wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 17-7 defeat against Kenwood on the 29th. As for Towson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-1 win against Gilman on the 28th.
