Recap: Ossining Pride vs. Greeley Quakers
The Ossining Pride entered their tilt with the Greeley Quakers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Ossining secured a 47-42 W over Greeley on Thursday. The score was all tied up 18-18 at the break, but Ossining was the better team in the second half.
Leading Ossining to victory were Franklin Santos and Asher Cort. Santos scored 15 points, while Cort scored ten points along with eight rebounds and six blocks. Cort is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Mateo Taylor-Lowe was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds.
Ossining pushed their record up to 12-7 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Greeley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
Ossining will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kingston knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully Ossining likes a good challenge. Greeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
