Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southridge). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Coral Park Rams a 19-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Southridge pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Coral Park, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southridge will welcome Sunset at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coral Park, they will host Sports Leadership & Management at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Coral Park has given up an average of 10.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
