Baseball Recap: Sierra Linda Takes a Loss

Sierra Linda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Copper Canyon Aztecs. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Sierra Linda saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Vasquez, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Sierra Linda's record is now 1-6. As for Copper Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4-1 record this season.

While Sierra Linda had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
