Hertford County came into Saturday's match looking for another win against Holmes, but Chloe Chappell wouldn't allow it. The Holmes Aces strolled past the Hertford County Bears with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 50-35 thanks in part to Chappell, who went 11-for-15 to rack up 23 points in addition to seven steals and six boards. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Holmes' points.

When it comes to explaining why Hertford County lost, don't look at Brooklynn White. Despite the final result, she went 8-for-20 on her way to 19 points and four steals. White is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Janiah Everette, who posted seven points.

Holmes' victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Hertford County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Holmes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-28 win against Camden County on the 11th. As for Hertford County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 45-30 victory against Manteo on the 11th.
