Volleyball Recap: Bessemer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bessemer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Watersmeet Nimrods. The Speedboys were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Nimrods earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Bessemer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Watersmeet, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Bessemer and Watersmeet will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Speedboys see the court they'll take on Lake Linden-Hubbell at 6:30 p.m. on September 11. As for Watersmeet, their break will end when they face L'Anse at 5:30 p.m. on September 8.
