Baseball Recap: Russell Comes Up Short

Russell was the 4-3 winner over Sacred Heart when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Broncos wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Mason Rohr was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Evans, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Russell's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Sacred Heart, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Russell nor Sacred Heart have any future games scheduled.
