Softball Game Preview: Ashland Oredockers vs. Northwestern Tigers

Ashland hasn't had much luck against Northwestern recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Oredockers will welcome the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ashland is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 35th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against Ladysmith, falling 12-1.

Meanwhile, after a string of 13 wins, Northwestern's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 10-2 to Superior. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this contest were averaging 2.1 runs allowed.
