            Softball Recap: Erie Tigers vs. Horizon Hawks        
        
		
        
        
            Erie had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Horizon Hawks by a score of  15-11. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

 Natalie Fetters was a standout: she got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1  runs per game  this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Horizon, they will take on Denver South at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
