Football Recap: Paxon School For Advanced Studies Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Paxon School For Advanced Studies can now relate to. They were dealt a 33-6 defeat at the hands of the Choctawhatchee Indians on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Golden Eagles have suffered since April 1st.

Diaris Morales was her usual excellent self, throwing for 257 yards and four touchdowns while completing 87.5% of her passes, and also rushing for 36 yards and one score for Choctawhatchee. That's the most rushing yards Morales has posted since back in March. Peyton DiBendetto was in the mix as well, providing Choctawhatchee with two TDs.
