Volleyball Recap: Laville Comes Up Short at Home Against North Miami

LaVille unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Miami Warriors on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

LaVille's offense was headlined by Faith Mejer and Olivia Markin, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Avery Lee and her 12 assists.

North Miami has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

LaVille wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Huntington North on the 16th. As for North Miami, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Peru on the 16th.
