Soccer Recap: Ray Takes a Loss

Ray was the 9-0 winner over Jones when they last played one another back in January of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Ray Texans fell 3-1 to the Jones Trojans on Saturday. The Texans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Reese Ramirez, who's now up to two this season.

Ray now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Jones, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Ray will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jones, they will venture away from home to take on Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
